First of all, writing a book that sad should be FORBIDDEN。 I was literally sobbing my eyes out since chapter 1 wtf This book is so heavy, so so so heavy it seems impossible… and yet。 But I loved it with my whole soul honestly The story is devastating, okay, but it’s so beautiful and as it’s said in the dedication it pictures true, epic, soul-shattering love at his apex I grew so attached to Poppy and Rune, they deserved the world honestlyThis book is so well written because it make us realise ho First of all, writing a book that sad should be FORBIDDEN。 I was literally sobbing my eyes out since chapter 1 wtf This book is so heavy, so so so heavy it seems impossible… and yet。 But I loved it with my whole soul honestly The story is devastating, okay, but it’s so beautiful and as it’s said in the dedication it pictures true, epic, soul-shattering love at his apex I grew so attached to Poppy and Rune, they deserved the world honestlyThis book is so well written because it make us realise how it’s important to live and to love and to explore no matter what, as long as Poppy taught it to Rune。。 I honestly think that this is a novel that I will not recover from, it was just beautifully destroying 。。。more

never once in my life have i cried over a book so hard OH MY GODDDD! this caused me so much pain, i sobbed from beginning to end (not the cute kind, like heart wrenching sobs)。 i don't have words to describe what i was feeling。 this book left me speechless。 everyone go read this right now (make sure you have tissues handy)。 i have no clue what i was expecting from this book before i started, but i know i was disappointed by the "everyone's in love with my boyfriend he's so attractive omg but he never once in my life have i cried over a book so hard OH MY GODDDD! this caused me so much pain, i sobbed from beginning to end (not the cute kind, like heart wrenching sobs)。 i don't have words to describe what i was feeling。 this book left me speechless。 everyone go read this right now (make sure you have tissues handy)。 i have no clue what i was expecting from this book before i started, but i know i was disappointed by the "everyone's in love with my boyfriend he's so attractive omg but he only has eyes for me 🥺🥺 he can't keep his hands off me aww" like pls shit up thanks <3 but THEN it got like 100000x better and i couldn't for the life of me put it down。 the romance was so freaking cute and brought my cold dead heart back to life。 then it smashed it to pieces。 that's all i can say without spoiling anything。 GO READ THIS!!!! 。。。more

“Why be miserable when you can be happy? It’s an obvious choice to me。”I started reading this book without knowing anything about it and it was my mistake。 I don't know what I was waiting for but it just wasn't it。 A Thousand Boy Kisses is such a soapy book with everyone and everything in it being just too perfect。 However, teenage me would have loved it。 I guess I am just too old for such things。“Why does it take a life ending to learn how to cherish each day? This is my very first review。 I'm glad it is to this book but also a little sad because it is this book。When I first saw the cover page of the book, I thought it was going to be full of cliches, that it would surely engulf me but it would be just like any other YA book。I was wrong。 Very wrong。The prologue made me grin。 It spoke about 5 year old kids becoming friends for the first time。 I loved the kid characters。 Rune was so perfectly moody and Poppy was。。。 well she was Poppy。The first chapter h This is my very first review。 I'm glad it is to this book but also a little sad because it is this book。When I first saw the cover page of the book, I thought it was going to be full of cliches, that it would surely engulf me but it would be just like any other YA book。I was wrong。 Very wrong。The prologue made me grin。 It spoke about 5 year old kids becoming friends for the first time。 I loved the kid characters。 Rune was so perfectly moody and Poppy was。。。 well she was Poppy。The first chapter had me in tears。 I sobbed and I need to thank the author for writing it soooo well。 You made me feel what they did, what it meant to understand love, to understand death, to understand life and moments and dreams。。。I kept reading, wanting to find out what happens。 Let me repeat what I'd said。 This book was unlike the others I'd expected it to be。 It was so sweet, it made my heart sob。 It was so cute, it made me grin so wide sometimes。。。The story is quite simple at first then not simple at all。 Its after two years that Run returns back to Georgia and nothing is quite the same。 I did not expect whatever happened to happen。 I expected for a dumb reason to be behind why Poppy ignored Rune, a cliched, or maybe even some funny reason to why she shut him out。 I was wrong again。 That chapter which revealed the truth。。。 broke my heart。 I did not expect it and neither did Rune。。。 I shall not reveal it so that those who do wish to check this book out feel everything newly, nothing prepared for。I connected to the characters。 I wish more people like each and every character in this book existed。。。 even people like Avery because she wasn't really that bad, I guess。 Its very important to find that one best friend in your life and this book showed us that。Best friends are for infinity, forever always。 Sometimes, cliches are what we really need。 In this world full of mysteries and suspenses, a little cliche can make your heart soar。。。 a little love can make your heart soar。 This book made my heart soar at how perfectly the author described the story of two young kids and how they got through everything。 To all those, who are scrolling through goodreads section of this book, do not wave it away after the ratings the readers have given because that's exactly what I did and when I came back today, 5 minutes ago to see what they had truly written, I understood what they felt。 If you're someone who wants a good read, who wants to smile at the end of the book even after sobbing for quite a while, this is a book for you。 This is not a story like others。 I rated this book 4 because there were sometimes when I wished for something to not happen and it did。 But I must say, I loved the epilogue。 I expected Rune to move on and live his life to the fullest。 He did live it to the fullest and maybe he did move on。 The reunion made me happy cry。 But I do wish to know what happened。。。? To believers of afterlife, to questioners of heaven, read this book。 See if it matches your beliefs, your imaginations。 I believe in afterlife and this book gave a just another closure of what "after" could be, of what "after" held。 Another imagination I can add to my collection of theories。 Last but not the least, I pray for all those who are fighting。 I hope you get your dreams fulfilled and you get to live life to the fullest。 I hope you never give up on happiness, there are so many people who love you and those you love will be loved too。 :)Thank you, for this book that kept me engrossed in nothing else for 2 days。 。。。more

“Strange” by Celeste is exactly the vibes this book gives me if described by a song。 I love that this book was a childhood friends to lovers to enemies to lovers but HATE the doomed romance。 The last 100 pages dragged like no ones business but I do say I can’t help but love a 6’4” blonde Norwegian boy with long hair。

I will honestly never forget about poppy and rune。 This is one of the best book I’ve ever read。 It broke my heart。 There were time where I thought I was going to be sick from crying so hard。 It was worth ever tear though。 They are the definition of an epic love story💕

Madison

Ok I changed my rating because this book was so very wattpadesce if that makes sense and I don’t like that。 I still really liked this though。

Emily

best book ever!!

Absolutely heartbreaking。 I’ve been crying so much。 Honestly, my heart feels heavy right now and all my energy is drained because of this book。 I started this book without realising it was a sad book。 I simply thought it was a cute romance and even some comedy inside。 Well I clearly was mistaken。 When i realised the direction this book was going, I balled my eyes out。 I think not expecting it to be sad, made it even more heartbreaking for me。 I prepared myself for the ending, but that wasn’t eno Absolutely heartbreaking。 I’ve been crying so much。 Honestly, my heart feels heavy right now and all my energy is drained because of this book。 I started this book without realising it was a sad book。 I simply thought it was a cute romance and even some comedy inside。 Well I clearly was mistaken。 When i realised the direction this book was going, I balled my eyes out。 I think not expecting it to be sad, made it even more heartbreaking for me。 I prepared myself for the ending, but that wasn’t enough bc It was just so sad that random lines just kept making me cry。 If i could go back and not read this book, I wouldn’t read it。 I really enjoy reading books because they bring happiness/excitement and I’ve never ever liked sad books or sad endings。 But this book will be memorable and definitely made me realise that I should cherish my time and life more。 For all the poppy and runes out there = 💛 Side Note = I read this book in one sitting (7 hours) 。。。more

holy crap this book was so CORNY。 this book is the actual definition of corny。 if i were to search up corny in google RIGHT now, a picture of this book would pop up。 am i over exaggerating? maybe a little。 but SERIOUSLY okay when i tell you this is the most cliche thing i’ve ever read。 and i was gonna say this might’ve been something i would’ve liked in middle school, but nope not even then。 even my middle school self wouldn’t like this。 i gave it an extra star just for the tear factor cause i w holy crap this book was so CORNY。 this book is the actual definition of corny。 if i were to search up corny in google RIGHT now, a picture of this book would pop up。 am i over exaggerating? maybe a little。 but SERIOUSLY okay when i tell you this is the most cliche thing i’ve ever read。 and i was gonna say this might’ve been something i would’ve liked in middle school, but nope not even then。 even my middle school self wouldn’t like this。 i gave it an extra star just for the tear factor cause i won’t lie i did cry LOL but i expected more ig。 everyone said it was super sad but it says what’s gonna happen like halfway through the book。 i was like oh。 well know i know what’s gonna happen??? i like being surprised, so when it said what was going to eventually take place in the story i was like bruh。 the story with the two characters is cute though and it is childhood friends to betrayal to strangers to lovers which is a GODLY trope but the way it’s written though doesn’t make it any good。 overall it’s just super cliche and very unrealistic。 the book does teach a valuable lesson though。 anyways whatever, the book is fine but don’t read it if u don’t like anything corny or elementary ish bc GOD this book is cliche 。。。more
